Human Environment Specialist

Leanna is a Human Environment Specialist at TWC. She is responsible for supporting the development of impact assessments and social science services informed by both Indigenous Knowledge and Western science. Leanna has experience in social science research working collaboratively with Indigenous peoples to identify community-based impacts of resource extraction projects and incorporating Indigenous Knowledge into climate risk assessments and adaptation plans. Her previous experience has provided her with the skills and insights to develop high quality environmental assessments that reflect best practices through a community minded approach.
