Kate Hicks (Ballegooyen), Senior Human Environment Specialist at TWC, oversees the development of environmental impact assessments, offers regulatory guidance, and leads research teams in the creation of technical reports. Kate has over a decade of experience in natural resource management and impact assessment, especially within Indigenous governments. Kate's passion lies in the convergence of Indigenous Knowledge and Western science, a commitment she has demonstrated through co-authoring articles aimed at advancing reconciliation in the realm of science.
